“It is not enough to simply teach children to read; we have to give them something worth reading. Something that will stretch their imaginations – – something that will help them make sense of their own lives and encourage them to reach out toward people whose lives are quite different from their own.”

                                           —Katherine Patterson

Our Mission

Our mission is to provide children with the resources and support they need to become multilingual and develop a lifelong passion for literature. Through engaging and interactive programs, we aim to inspire young minds, broaden their horizons, and empower them to become global citizens who appreciate the beauty of language and storytelling. Together, we can ignite a love for reading that will last a lifetime.

Running with Imagination: How this First-Grader Retold the Gingerbread Man!

After hearing "El hombre de pan de jengibre" in Spanish, a first-grader excitedly retold the story to her mother using drawings. She recounted key phrases like "Me voy a comer a esa galleta" and "Corriendo voy, corriendo voy, y nadie me alcanzará." The child's confident use of Spanish and animated storytelling showed how the interactive session improved her language skills and sparked her imagination. This moment created a meaningful connection between mother and child through shared culture and language.

Libby reads 'The Gingerbread Man' to Mom.
